One of the great up-and-coming ball players from the Dominican Republic, Jose Reyes was given his first shot in the big show last season playing shortstop for the Mets. His speed and ability impressed all who saw him and 2004 is sure to be a break-out year for the young star. This glove was used by Reyes during his 2003 rookie season. On the thumb is "La Melaza #7" embroidered in red stitch below a red, white and blue Dominican flag. The "Rawlings" label and "R" logo are present on the outside of the glove as is the "Gold Glove Co." tag. The model number "Pro-200-6B" appears on the inside along with the size from thumb to pinky of "11-1/2 inch." The glove shows light use.
