Sammy Sosa picked up right where he left off in 1999 and followed his incredible 98 season by blasting another 63 homeruns. He certainly sent more than a few skyward with this bat, which shows tremendous game-use. There are stitch marks embedded deep into the barrel along the side rack and cleat marks are also visible. A moderate coat of pine tar has been applied to the handle and the knob has been taped in typical Sammy fashion.
