Gil McDougald played with the Yankees for all 10 of his professional seasons. He used this bat as a member of the team in the 1950s. It shows tremendous game use with ball and rack marks covering the barrel. A light coat of pine tar has been applied to the handle, which has a slight crack. The back of the barrel shows grain separation and has a very small piece of wooding missing. Manufacturer: Hillerich & Bradsby, Model Number: R43, Labeling Period: Early 1950s, Length: 35, Weight: 32.5 ounces, Wood: Ash, Finish: Standard. The bat comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
