The original "Pudge" behind the plate, Carlton Fisk's 24 year career earned him a place in Cooperstown. This bat shows evidence of outstanding game-use with a handle crack that has been taped over. The player number "72" appears on the knob in black marker and a moderate coat of pine tar has been applied to the handle, which also has also been lightly taped. Ball hit, ball transfer, and rack marks appear on the barrel. The bat has been signed "To Donald Fitzpatrick, All My Best, Carlton Fisk Bo Sox #27 - Chi Sox #72" in blue marker rating a 9.
