The following lot is one of 24 lots that has been consigned by the Baseball Assistance Team (B.A.T.). Each participant in the 2003 MLB All-Star Game was given two jerseys for the workout that preceded the game and many signed and returned one to B.A.T. to be sold to raise funds for the charity. Some were worn by the player. Each jersey has the ironed on "Majestic" manufacturer's label on the left front tail. Next to this is a flag tag with the size and on the inside is the wash tag. Across the front of each is the team name "American" (grey on red tackle twill) or "National" (black on grey), and on the back is the player name and number done in matching colors. All have the "2003 All Star Game" patch on the left sleeve and the respective team's patch on the right. Each has been signed, usually on the back number, by the player in silver paint pen, rating from 8-10. The Major League Baseball authentication hologram has been affixed nearby. Each jersey will come with a letter from Jim Martin, Executive Director of B.A.T., verifying the authenticity. All autographs will come with a letter from PSA/DNA.
