Albert Pujols can not be pitched around. He has the bat speed to turn on any fastball and the patience to wait on the breaking ball. On the left front tail is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag and below are two flag tags reading, "48" and "Set 1 2002" denoting jersey size and set, respectively. On the front is the team name "Cardinals" as well as the "birds on bat" team logo done in red, yellow and blue chain stitching. The number "5" is on the front and back in red on blue tackle twill. The name "Pujols" is on a white nameplate on the rear in red on blue tackle twill. The official "MLB" logo patch is on the rear neck. On the left sleeve is the "DK57" patch, worn in honor of the late Darryl Kile. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
