A tall lefty with great athletic ability, Jim Kaat was able to rack up an impressive 283 wins and 16 Gold Glove Awards. On the inside right front tail is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag with a size "48." Attached to the right of this are two white tags labeled "Set 1 1980" and "2 Inch Extra Length" indicating issue, year, and jersey size, respectively. On the front is the name "Cardinals" in gold, red, and black tackle twill. The number "36" appears on the front and back of the jersey in red on blue tackle twill. The name "Kaat" is on the back also done in red on blue tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
