What can you really say about an eight-time batting champion and 19-time All-Star -- the numbers speak for themselves. Stan Musial was unselfish with his baseball knowledge and shared it with younger players as a coach after retiring. The jersey appears to have been worn in the minor leagues after Musial wore it. The name "Liggins" is written in black marker on the front tail. Across the front is the "Cardinals bird and bat" logo done in embroidered chain stitching. The number "6" is on the left breast and rear in red on blue tackle twill. Inside the right front tail is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag with attached flag tags reading, "Set 1" and "1976" denoting set and year, respectively. The jersey shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
