The best hitting catcher of all time, Mike Piazza became a superstar while with the Dodgers. On the inside left tail is the "Russell Athletic" manufacturer's tag with wash instructions and jersey size "50." Attached are two white tags reading "100% Polyester" and "1996." Across the front in script-style lettering is the team name "Dodgers" in blue tackle twill and below it the number "31" in red tackle twill. The name "Piazza" and the number "31" appear on the back in blue on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the "Jackie Robinson 50th Anniversary" patch. Removed from the left sleeve was the "Dodgers" team patch. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
