A five-time All-Star and 1962 NL MVP, Maury Wills was a prototype for the modern day player. His ability to hit was only surpassed by his ability to run, and in 1962 he set the major league record for steals with 104. On the left front tail of this road flannel jersey is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag with the jersey size "40." Stitched in blue script-style lettering below the manufacturer's tag is "Wills 64" denoting player name and year, respectively. Across the front in script-style lettering is the city name "Los Angeles." The number "30" appears on the front left and rear of the jersey. The number on the front is done in red felt and the city name and rear number are done in blue felt. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
