Part of arguably the best pitching staff in contemporary baseball, John Smoltz has made the transition from starting pitcher to closer look easy. On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic" manufacturer's tag and below it are three smaller white tags. The smaller tags read "2003", "50 100% Polyester" and "+2' Extra Length" denoting year, size and material information, and additional length, respectively. Across the front is the team name "Braves" and a large "Tomahawk" logo. On the back is the number "29" all done in red on navy blue tackle twill. The player name "Smoltz" in navy blue tackle twill appears on a white nameplate on the back of the jersey. On the rear neck is the official "MLB" logo patch. There is a autograph on the rear that rates a 7 and comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
