Andre Dawson won the MVP in 1987 with 49 homers and 137 RBI, becoming the first player ever from a last place team to win the award. In the neck is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag with wash instructions and jersey size "44." To the right is a white flag tag reading "Set 1 1987" denoting set and year, respectively. Below is a blue tackle twill patch reading "8 87 2 44" in white stitching. On the left breast is the "Cubs" team logo. On the rear is the name "Dawson" and the number "8" both done in red on white tackle twill. The right sleeve has the "Rawlings" logo. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
