Lee Smith played for 18 seasons and his first eight were spent in Chicago. On the left front tail of this road jersey is a small blue tag with the number "81" in blue chain stitch indicating the year. In the neck of the jersey is the "Wilson" manufacturer's tag with the size "46." Below this is a blue tag reading "46 81 1 46" in blue chain stitch indicating jersey number, year, issue, and size, respectively. On the front is the name "Chicago." The number "46" appears on the front and back of the jersey. The name "Smith" also appears on the back. All letters and numbers are done in blue tackle twill. The left sleeve displays the "Cubs" team logo in blue, red, and white tackle twill. The jersey shows good game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
