During the 1970s Rick Reuschel became one of the Cubs' all-time leaders in wins, games and strikeouts. Inside the neck is the "Wilson" manufacturer's tag with jersey size "48." Below the manufacturer's tag is a white tackle twill patch reading "48 79 1 48" denoting size, year, set and size, respectively. On the left front tail is a white tackle twill patch with the year "79." The left breast features the "Chicago Cubs C" team logo patch. The left sleeve has the "Cubs" team logo patch. The number "48" appears on the back in blue tackle twill. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. There is an autograph on the front that rates a 9 and comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
