One of the best players the Cubs have ever known, HOFer Ernie Banks was a coach for the team in the 1970s. Inside the neck is the "Wilson" manufacturer's tag with jersey size "42." On the left front tail is a tackle twill patch with year "72." The number "14" is on the front and back. Inside the neck a tag has been removed. The name on the front was removed and the jersey was sent to the minor leagues where another name was attached. The name "Chicago" has since been restored and is across the front. All letters and numbers are done in blue on white tackle twill. The jersey shows wear and appears to have no alterations except for the above mentioned changes. There is an autograph on the front of the jersey rating an 8. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
