After retiring in 1985, Rollie Fingers was considered by many to be the greatest relief pitcher of all time, amassing a record 341 saves. Inside the neck is the "Wilson" manufacturer's label with wash instructions and size "42." On the left front tail is a white patch reading, "34 80" denoting player number and year, respectively. Across the front of the jersey is the team name "Padres" and on the back is the player number "34" -- both done in orange on yellow on brown tackle twill. Also on the back on a white nameplate is the player name "Fingers" done in brown tackle twill. This jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
