10 Gold Gloves, an equal number of All-Star Game appearances, and the 1997 AL MVP award all support Ken Griffey Jr. being a lock for the Hall of Fame. On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic" manufacturer's tag with the size "42." Adjacent to this is a white label reading, "Property of Cincinnati Reds 2000" in black block lettering. Also present are the "100% Polyester" and "2 Extra Length" flag tags. On the left front breast of the jersey is the "Reds" team logo and on the right is the player number "30" which also appears on the back. Also on the back is the player name "Griffey." All of the letters, numbers, and the team logo are done in red on white on black tackle twill. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
