A studious, hard-working and consummate professional, HOFer Tom Seaver was the first super-star on a fledgling expansion Mets team in the 1960s that eventually went on to be the miracle Mets of '69. Inside the jersey on the tail is the "Wilson" manufacturer's tag with wash instructions and the size "44." The city name "Cincinnati" has been sewn across the front of the jersey and the player number "41" has been sewn onto the front and back of the jersey. The name "Seaver" has been sewn on the back of the jersey above the number. All the letters and numbers are made of red tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
