An agile shortstop, dependable hitter and eventual pennant winning manager, Lou Boudreau was a lifetime student of the game. In 1948, his best season, he batted .355, hit 18 homers, batted in 106 runs, and scored 116 to go on to win the AL MVP and lead the Indians to a World Series Victory. In the waistband of his pants is the "Wilson" manufacturer's tag with an adjacent flag tag reading "38" denoting pants size. To the left of the "Wilson" tag is a grey tackle twill patch reading "Lou Boudreau" in script-style chain stitch. The pants show game-use and appear to have no alterations of any kind. There is an autograph in the waistband that rates an 8 and comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
