After three seasons with the Yankees, James was traded to the Angels where he saw limited action and finally retired. On the left front tail is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag with jersey size "42." Below that reads "James 62 42" in blue script-style chain stitch denoting name, year and jersey size, respectively. Across the front is the team name "Angels" and on the back is the "22" both done in red on navy blue tackle twill. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
