Jack "BlackJack" McDowell was a fearsome pitcher who dominated the mounds of the American League during the mid '90s with a combination of movement and velocity which was at times simply unstoppable. On the left front tail of this jersey is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag with jersey size "46." To the right is a black patch reading "T" denoting custom tailoring. To the right is a flag tag reading "Set 2 1991" and below this is another patch reading "2" Extra Length." On the left breast is the "White Sox" team logo patch and on the right breast is the number "29." The back features the number "29" and the name "McDowell." All letters and numbers are done in white on grey tackle twill. The right sleeve has the "Comiskey Pair Inaugural Year" patch. In the waistband of the pants is a "Rawlings" tag with pants size "35" and to the right is a white patch reading " 91 35 31 McDowell." The jersey and pants show game-use and appear to have no alterations of any kind.
