A class act on and off the field, future HOFer Cal Ripken Jr. went about his job as a true professional, playing 2632 consecutive games. On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic" manufacturer's tag with jersey size "48." Below it are two white tags, one of which reads "100% Polyester" and the other "1995." On the front is the player number "8" in orange on black tackle twill. Across the front in script-style lettering is the team name "Orioles" in a white nameplate on the back is the player name "Ripken" and below it the number "8" all done in black on orange tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the "Orioles Bird" logo patch and on the right sleeve is the "Russell R" logo patch. There is an autograph on the front of the jersey. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
