Don Gullett was picked up off free agency by the Yankees in 1977 and in his first season for the bombers he went 14-4. On the left breast is the "NY" logo patch and on the rear is the number "35" both done in navy blue tackle twill. Inside the neck is a white patch reading "Gullett 78" denoting player and year. On the left sleeve is a black armband to honor fallen teammate Thurman Munson. On the left front tail is the "Wilson" manufacturer's tag with jersey size "44". The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
