Though the two were friends, Roger Maris and Mickey Mantle could not have been more different. Mantle was outspoken, wild, and a true media dream, while Maris was a quiet and very focused player. In 1961 the media pinned the two as homerun record chasers: "The M & M Boys." Seen here, the two Yanks are smiling in their uniforms in this 8" x 10". The picture is double-matted and set in a black frame. Both Mantle and Maris have signed the photo in blue Sharpie marker, their signatures rating strong 9s. The photo comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
