Gene Woodling played the majority of his career with the New York Yankees, including the 1949-53 string of five consecutive World Championship seasons. This bat was used by him in the 1951 World Series when the Yanks beat their cross-town rival Giants. It shows evidence of outstanding game use with ball and hit marks visible on the barrel. The handle shows a slight crack and there is a 1-1/4" piece missing from the top of the barrel.
