Reggie Lewis was a bright and shining star in Boston. In only 28 years he left an indelible mark on the basketball court and in the community of Boston.This jersey was worn during the 1987 playoffs. On the left front tail is the year tag "87" which is done in black embroidered stitch. Next to this is the Celtics exclusive label and below this is the "Sand-Knit" label with the size "44." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Celtics" and on the back is the name "Lewis." The player number "35" appears on both the front and back of the shirt. All the letters and numbers are made of white tackle twill. On the upper left front is the "NBA" patch. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
