One of the outstanding Harlem Globetrotters was Clarence Wilson, who was their MVP in 1955. On the left front tail of this blue durene jersey is the "Wilson" label and adjacent is the size tag "40." On the front of the jersey is "Original Harlem Globetrotters." The words "Original" and "Globetrotters" are made of white tackle twill. The name "Harlem" is made of red on white tackle twill. On the back of the jersey is the player number "42" in white on red tackle twill. There are red and white tackle twill stars on both the front and back of the shirt. Included with the jersey are shorts belonging to "Showboat" Hall. In the waistband is the "Wilson" label . Below this is a label which is printed with "40 Hall 34 Plus 2." The numbers denote the player number and waist plus two inches of extra length, respectively. On the lower left front is the player number "40" which is made of gold on blue tackle twill. The jersey and shorts show game use and appear to have no alterations of any kind.
