Hall of Famer "Pistol" Pete Maravich started his basketball career as a 6'5'' guard from LSU, where he set the record for being the greatest scorer in college basketball history. He then went on to join the professional ranks, playing in 10 NBA seasons and four NBA All-Star Games. Maravich's playing style of dazzling passes and shots is still unmatched. This lot consists of ten checks signed by "Pistol" Pete that were written between April 12, 1984 and March 20, 1987. The checks have been stamped "PROCESSED" and are endorsed on the backs. Also included in this lot are ten letters of authenticity from Jackie Maravich, Pete's wife, stating that her husband personally signed these checks and that they have been in the Maravich family archives since they were returned by the bank. A very limited supply exists. Pete's signatures are all at least 9s and come with a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
