Dan Marino is the most prolific passer in NFL history. During his tenure with the Miami Dolphins, Marino set almost every major passing record. To this day, he is the all-time leader in touchdown passes (420), yardage (61,361), completions (4,967) and attempts (8,358). He also still holds the single-season touchdown record (48) and single-season yardage record (5,084). The shoes in this lot are extremely rare. One of the shoes is extra high due to a achilles injury that Marino suffered. It is the only shoe like that and was created by Nike in the USA because it had to be custom-made. It shows good game use. The shoes are autographed in black ink. The signature grades a 8. There is a letter of authenticity from the Miami Dolphins equipment manager which certifies that the shoes were worn by Marino. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA. There is also a letter from Pat Catello.
