One of the most coveted trophies in all of sports is the Vince Lombardi Trophy. On January 12, 1969 the New York Jets accomplished that dream as they beat Baltimore 16 to 7 in Super Bowl III. In that game Joe Namath capitalized on a promise and brought the Vince Lombardi Trophy to New York. The efficient Namath completed 17 of 28 passes and threw for 206 yards as he helped control the clock and win the game. This salesman sample of the Super Bowl III trophy is 18 inches tall and has the same markings as the original. The plaque at the base tells the score, date, and the teams. The trophy is in excellent to near mint condition overall. The actual trophy has the NFL logo along with "Vince Lombardi Trophy" above it and "Super Bowl III - AFL vs NFL" below it.
