The Notre Dame football program is deeply rooted in the history of college athletics. This jersey, circa 1954, was worn by player Wayne Edmonds and dates to the glory days of college football. The jersey is constructed of a thin cotton knit material which shows a ton of use, including several small holes and a large hole under the right arm. The player number "82" appears on both the front and back in white fabric lettering. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. It is accompanied by documentation that traces the history of the jersey.
