Ray Bourque was an intelligent defenseman who usually checked an opponent just hard enough to separate him from the puck, which he then would control. In the neck of this maroon mesh jersey is the "CCM" label and next to this is the size tag "54." On the back tail are the "CCM" and "NHL" patches. On the front of the jersey is the black/silver NHL emblem and on the back is a maroon nameplate with the name "Bourque" in white tackle twill. The player number "77" appears on the back of the jersey as well as on each sleeve. The numbers on the back are made of white on maroon tackle twill and the numbers on the sleeves are made of maroon on white tackle twill. On the upper left front is a white/maroon tackle twill letter "C" denoting "Captain." On the right sleeve is the "1998 All-Star Game" patch and on the left shoulder is the Boston Bruins patch. On the front emblem is a signature and inscription reading "To Doc Still the Best... Ray Bourque." The autograph rates an 8 and comes with a letter from PSA/DNA. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. It comes with an additional letter of authenticity.
