On July 4, 1919, Jack Dempsey challenged heavyweight champion Jess Willard at an outdoor arena in Toledo, Ohio. Willard was beaten to the canvas seven times in the first round. The fight ended when Willard failed to answer the bell for the fourth round. Dempsey would be crowned champion and four years later to the day would have an easy title defense against Tom Gibbons. Offered are two full tickets from these great fights. Both tickets grade EX and include a photo of Willard in a boxing pose during training.
