With regard to the levels of frustration that Billy Martin used to display on the baseball diamond, one can only image the abuse that his golf clubs took if they failed to produce well for him on the course. Offered here is Martin's Matzie "Velvet-Touch" putter. On the shaft is the "Billy Martin, Shady Oaks C.C., Ft. Worth, TX 76114" identifier tag as placed there by the Country Club. It measures 35" in length and is in well-used condition. The putter originates from the sale of Martin's estate through Sotheby's when his entire set of clubs was offered and the buyer chose to separate this one from the group.
