Ol' Blue Eyes came to define American culture through his music, which touched millions in a career that lasted from 1935, when he won an amateur radio contest, through 1998 with his passing. The photographs contained herein cover much of that time and many of them convey a stunning beauty that seems all but appropriate given the subject. Each was taken for pubication/publicity purposes and have an assortment of markings on the reverse including UPI, Gamma Ltd., Globe, Wide World, etc. Several of the photographs are movie stills from such classic Sinatra films as "Can-Can" and "The Detective." The candid and posed shots show Sinatra while singing, attending various social functions, on the sets of movies, and even a few on the golf course. Some have original paper wire captions and many have production markings. A fabulous lot with tremendous break value.
