Based on Nordhoff and Hall's narrative of the infamous 1789 incident that ended in tragedy, "Mutiny on the Bounty" was released by MGM Studios on November 8, 1962. The movie starred a young Marlon Brando as First Mate Fletcher Christian and was the fourth screen version of the famous tale. The Umpere vest featured here was worn by Brando in the movie. It exhibits a Western Costume Co. tag in the collar featuring Brando's name, chest and sleeve size in typed letters. The 12-button vest shows nice wear.
