This circa 1942 National Pride poster, distributed by The Philadelphia Army Quartermaster Depot, was issued during World War II to prevent accidental fires from striking American factories. It features, in red type across the middle, the slogan "EVERY FIRE IS SABOTAGE TODAY" to encourage factory workers from being careless. It then goes on to illustrate instructions for them to "Report Faulty Wiring, Get it Refilled NOW, Wipe Up Surplus Oil, Step On Iit, and Chuck it in the Trash Can," as preventative measures. The top of the poster features a cartoon of Hitler and Tojo, celebrating the burning down of an American factory and enforcing the importance of our vigilance. It is in excellent condition overall, showing fold lines.
