A piece of American history, this is one of the Alexander pens that Ronald Reagan used to sign the "Balanced Budget" Amendment on July 19, 1982. The pen itself has a gold engraving of Reagan's name and a picture of his face on its top, and it comes in the original box with a felt pen cover. In addition, a ticket to that afternoon's speech/rally in support of the amendment, which was held on the West Side of the U.S. Capitol, is included. All items in this lot are in near mint condition.
