Herbert Hoover served as Secretary of Commerce under President Calvin Coolidge. Contained in this lot are signatures from both Hoover and Coolidge. Coolidge has signed a beautiful Harris & Ewing portrait "To Baynrd Myrnan, With Regards, Calvin Coolidge" in flowing black ink. The image shows evidence of having been framed with a 1 inch untoned border around the perimeter. Hoover has signed a typed letter, dated Oct. 21, 1940 and written on personal stationery, "Herbert Hoover" in black ink. Both signatures are superb examples rating a 10 and are accompanied by a letter from PSA/DNA.
