The most durable player of his era, Steve Garvey played a National League record 1,207 consecutive games. This image shows Garvey dressed in his Dodgers uniform, poised and ready to catch the next ball sent his way. Inset above is an acrylic wash of Garvey up at bat with a Miller Lite sign behind him, honoring Miller Lite's support of this project. To the right is a closeup of Garvey, capturing his concentration and physical likeness. The painting, done in a combination of acrylic and airbrush, was done on a stretched canvas measuring 24" x 36" x 1.5" with no unsightly staples, allowing it to be beautifully displayed with or without framing. The painting is signed by "D. Arrigo," the artist, in black marker. Steve Garvey also signed his name and number in black marker on the lower right. His signature rates a near 10 and comes with a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA. Proceeds from this item go to the Baseball Assistance Team.
