In 1987 the Minnesota Twins, led by Hall of Famer Kirby Puckett, took the first World Championship in franchise history. It was the classic "sum is greater than its parts" baseball team, a group of players that no one would have looked at twice individually but who worked like a well-oiled machine when combined. This commemorative black bat was produced by Louisville Slugger in very limited numbers to be distributed to players and team executives. It is in stunning mint condition and is surely among the finest examples available.
