The April 6, 1992 issue of Sports Illustrated featured on its cover a picture of Kirby Puckett posed with an enormous baseball bat and the caption "Kirby Puckett of the Twins is only 5'8", but he carries a very big stick." That "very big stick" that he was pictured with is offered here. It is a cross between baseball collectible and folk art relic, measuring a full 5-1/2 feet long and 16 inches around at its widest point. It has the "Louisville Slugger Powerized" logo and the player name "George Babe Ruth" burned into the barrel and has been signed by Puckett as well Ronald C. Modra, the photographer. Also included is a copy of the issue of Sports Illustrated signed on the cover by Puckett and two gum cards that feature similar images from 1993 and 1998. The autographs rate an average of 9 and come with a letter from PSA/DNA.
