The opening of Turner Field in 1997 brought new excitement to the city of Atlanta and its baseball fans. Three years later, they hosted baseball's Midsummer Classic. This is a fold-up chair used for the 2000 All-Star Game. The cushion seat is red and the top backrest is white with the 2000 All-Star logo. Along with the chair is a red banner with a yellow star on the left and "Sele" on the right, which is also in yellow and was created to honor current All-Star pitcher Aaron Sele of the Seattle Mariners.
