Following the tragedy of September 11, 2001, Mayor Rudy Giuliani was thrust into the national spotlight and received nothing but praise for his handling of the events following the devastation. Another New Yorker receiving national acclaim is the New York Yankees manager, Joe Torre, who has led his team to four World Championships and ushered in a new dynasty. Both of these famous New Yorkers are pictured here wearing special fire helmets with the Yankees logo on the front. Giuliani and Torre have signed the photograph in gold paint pen with flawless autographs rating near 10s. It is a limited edition piece (172/1911) accompanied by documentation verifying the authenticity of the signatures and indicating that proceeds from the original sale were donated to the Twin Towers Fund. Framed in black and tastefully matted in gray and blue, the overall measurements are 20"x24" and the piece is in overall near mint to mint condition. The autographs come with a letter from PSA/DNA and are as New York as New York gets.
