This issue of Time magazine, dated October 4, 1948, features Joe DiMaggio, the "Yankee Clipper," on the cover. DiMaggio signed next to his picture in blue Sharpie, his signature rating a 9. The magazine is in very good to excellent condition with wear along the bottom edge and a small pencil notation. The address label has been carefully removed. This issue is numbered "VOL. LII NO. 14" in the lower right corner. Included in this lot is a photograph of DiMaggio signing this magazine. DiMaggio's signature comes with a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
