This ring was made as a sample of the one that Steve Garvey received after the L.A. Dodgers won the World Series in 1981. Garvey hit .417 in the postseason to help lead his team to victory. On the top is a CZ stone set against a blue background. Around this are the words "Los Angeles Dodgers World Champions." On the right shank is the name "Garvey" above the team logo and player number "6." On the opposite shank is the year "1981" above a rendering of the trophy that the team was awarded. The size 10 ring is stamped "Balfour 10K." Near mint condition overall.
