This lot offers an authentic late 1970's game-used Pete Rose helmet. The helmet displays a white Cincinnati Reds' "C" on the front with the name Rose in dynotape on the front of the brim. Inside, the player number 14 is written in black magic marker and a sticker with the helmet size 7 1/8" is present. Rose signed the brim of the hat in a black Sharpie and included his career hit total, 4,256, underneath. The helmet is in very good condition and shows considerable game use. The signature itself rates a 9 and comes with a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
