Two pieces of equipment from one of the finest base stealers of all time. First up is a cap from his minor league days. Although he would gain fame with the St. Louis Cardinals, Lou began his career in the minors with the Cubs. On the front of this cap is the Cubs minor league affiliate "C ST" embroidered logo patch. On the underside of the brim is his name "Brock" and the year "1961." The hat shows extensive game use. Next is a cleat from early in his career. On the tongue are the "Rawlings Fleet Foot" manufacturer's tags and below these is his name "Brock" in black marker. The shoe shows nice use and is off one of the "fleetest" of feet that ever ran the basepaths.
