Following the 1967 season, the Kansas City Athletics moved out to Oakland, where the franchise has resided ever since. This jacket was worn in 1968 by regular player Danny Cater. On the left breast is the Oakland "A" logo in white on yellow tackle twill. Inside of the jacket is the "Tim McAuliffe" manufacturer's tag. Adjacent to this are the year "68" and size "46" tags. The wool-lined jacket shows nice use and is a fine relic of the team's first year on the West Coast.
