Duffy Dyer came up with the New York Mets in 1969 and hung around until 1974. He was a semi-regular catcher with the team during both the '69 and '73 campaigns. On the outside thumb of the glove is the "Rawlings" manufacturer's tag. Below this, the name "Dyer" has been written is ink. The name also appears on the outside of the pinky. The model "HOH-X" glove shows heavy use with much of the interior stamping worn away. It is accompanied by documentation from Dyer stating that he used it while in the minor leagues and for part of his rookie season, which was with the 1969 Miracle Mets.
